Jonathan approves commencement of refineries’ privatization

Jonathan Might fire more ministersPresident Goodluck Jonathan has approved the commencement of the privatization of the nation’s four refineries by the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

Besides, the President has also approved the constitution of a steering committee on the privatization process that involves all relevant stakeholder, ministries and agencies.

The Head, Public Communications at BPE, Chigbo Anichebe, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

According to BPE, the decision is in furtherance of the economic reform programme of the present administration.

I’m so shock how brainless some nigerians are. Do most of Jona blind supporters think they can survive without this low cost fuel. Funny enough Jona will not put one kobo into any of ur pocket. For Christ sake, about 75% of Nigerians live below the poverty line & d subsidy go a long way to cushion the harsh economy on them. Now when jona remove d subsidy, poverty will escalate & to dos his lazy lady supporter, they will turn to prostitution to survive & d men to 419 & armed robbery. Pls think twice. Dangote & jona will continue to get richer while u all wallow in abject poverty. GSM should not be use to compare power & refinery. By d way we Nigerians pay higher GSM tarrif than most African countries bcos Nigerian don’t think;they re people meant for exploitation; they re not creative & innovation & they lack apathy for one another.privation of our refinery will destroy d economic & only make d benefactor, dangote, jona & co wealthier. Think twice
