Female singer, Chinyere Aharanwa a.k.a Kryztal has allegedly rejected a Porsche Cayenne car gift and cheque of N13 million from a male fan.
Bukola Adegbite, a business tycoon and fan of the singer was said to have presented the singer with the gifts, but she rejected them.
Kryztal, who just released a song, Okro, told our correspondent that she rejected the gifts because she is not familiar with Adegbite, though admitted that turning such offer down wasn’t an easy decision. “It is true one of my fans based abroad, Bukola Adegbite communicated with me and said he is so crazy about my songs and performance. He told me he has a Porsche Cayenne car gift for me and N13million. I rejected them because I don’t know him. I have to be sure of who he is before accepting his gifts,” Kryztal said.
She also rebuffed the impression that female entertainers indulge in prostitution. “It’s a wrong impression. It’s very wrong to label female artistes prostitutes. Being a prostitute is a personal thing irrespective of your profession. What sells in music nowadays is age and sex, but it doesn’t mean you have to sleep with someone. What I mean is that you must look sexy on stage.”
A graduate of Pure and Industrial chemistry, Kryztal was formerly in Gloria Ibru’s band and had performed on stage with musicians like Ras Kimono, Sir Shina Peters, 2Face, Alex O, Mike Okri, Oritz Wiliki and Kween.
