Leadership news gathered that the truck was heading out of Lagos around 7am when it lost one of its tyres and the driver lose control of it.
As he struggled to regain control, it tipped over to its right side making the container to fall off and landed on a woman by the road side. The woman whose identity is still unknown died instantly while traffic officials were seen at the scene trying to lift the truck and its container with a crane even as the Lagos Police command spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the story.
It would be recalled that three men also lost their lives on Monday when a Mack truck with registration number XP 152 AKD driven by one Abdullahi Mumini along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway suddenly had its twin tyres go off and hit four artisans sitting in a garden nearby.
The victims, Kabiru Okunola died instantly while two others, Lanre Owoyemi and Aseez later died at the Lagos Emergency hospital. The only survivor, Dele Ibrahim who sustained injuries on his head is responding to treatment according to reports.
