“Only the commissioner knows what he planning to gain from his statement. The school thinks that the fear that legal action may be taken by Prof. Sunday Edekor is what is pushing the commissioner to blackmail the university.

“The lecturer was brutalized and he is taking the matter up personally not even the University as he has not informed the school officially. I think it is the fear that the man is a lawyer and he may get legal support from Nigerian Bar Association, he decided to blackmail to intimidate us and we are not going to succumm to that.

“If such thing like beheading in the school, will there  be peace in Ekpoma land? As we are talking the students are writing their second semester examination.”

He said “I can assure you, nothing like that happened. I am the professor they said they arrested. My house was never searched and no gun was recovered.

“Where did he get the 14 students that were beheaded? He is lying to cover his lies. I have already sued him”.
