Two out of the six people in the rubble have been rescued
Four people are reportedly trapped in the rubble of a one-storey building that collapsed in Apo Mechanic Village on Wednesday.
It was gathered that the building collapsed around 11am, trapping six occupants. Rescuers have succeeded in extracting two people from the rubbles, while efforts to get the rest have continued.
Yushau Shuaib, the spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the building collapse, adding that the injured victims had been taken to hospital.
He said that officials of the agency have been deployed to the site.
