Jonathan shocked, ordered investigation into beating of pregnant woman

President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered a probe into the case of a 34-year-old woman, Mrs. Alexandra Ossai, who accused her Lebanese boss, Kaveh Noine, of causing her to lose her seven-month pregnancy after he kicked her in the stomach.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, disclosed this in his Twitter handle as well as his Facebook page on Thursday.

It was on Tuesday published that Ossai, who until December 13, 2013, was a supervisor with a Lebanese owned firm, Toppan Printing Company. She had alleged that Noine assaulted her many times during her eight months stay at the company.

Abati said Jonathan was shocked when he learnt of the development and had directed the Nigeria Police Force to investigate the matter.

He said the President had also directed four ministers – Mr. Aba Moro (Interior), Chief Emeka Wogu (Labour), Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu (Health) and Hajia Zaynab Maina (Women Affairs) – as well as the National Human Rights Commission, to probe the matter in order to recommend sanctions and remedial actions.

I am happy that the President has become involved because if it’s left to the police, they will arrest the woman and her family members for a few dollars….As for the animal that did this, you will be dealt with for the alleged murder of a Nigerian baby and the attempted murder of it’s Mother. After your time in prison, go back to Lebanon and kill yourself, if you like. The trans saharan slave trade ended ages ago, you big goat. If anyone cannot abide by our laws, fade out fast!

Aren’t our people selling their own for money already? Who gives kidnappers information? Family members ! Who ruin businesses, because they feel, they will get away with it? Family members ! Who consents to their children travelling to Italy to prostitute to send money back home? Who are ritual killers, rapist, child molesters, ……?

I read it somewhere, it’s just heresay for now. But don’t you see how something like that can happen? If their boss gets arrested, they stand the risk of losing their jobs when he gets bailed. Because the police are corrupt and our laws are not being executed .

Ewaen, I read it somewhere, that the Nigerian workers in the factory where trying to protect their boss when the police came for him. Injustice to one is injustice to all. Isn’t it in the same country that fathers have kids by different women without helping to support the kids? A woman can be kicked out of her marriage with no compensation from the man whatsoever, because she can’t go to court to ask for child support or alimony or a right to properties she helped build. Sometimes I wonder, why I still give a damn about Nigeria.

I don’t understand, is there no constitution in this country. what is Jonathan ordering, get the terrorist and lock his ass up , to face attempted murder in court. Let a Nigeria man spit on the ground in their country and we get life sentence. we too dey fall our own hand, they will never respect us outside the shores of Africa. ,Because our police too corrupt abi?and therefoe we don’t have police in this country, so Jonathan will be the ones to arrest the idiots terrorist by himself by setting up panel to recommend remedy and punishment .This is stupid.
