Skye Bank Allegedly Upes Customer Of 11 Million Naira

Bank customers have been told to be careful with the way they carry out transaction with banks.A lagos based businessman, Segun Taylor was allegedly duped of about N11 million naira by skye Bank in a transaction that is already causing serious buzz.

Sources at a forensic accounting firm owned by Ori Adeyemo confirmed the news. “After thorough investigation into the financial statement of Taylor Rohi Limited we discovered that the bank fleeced the company to the tune of N11,130,125.44. Meanwhile, the same bank is saying that they are owing them 48 million Naira.They abused the account with sprurious and illegal bank charges which has become the hallmark of the bank”

Effort to reach the bank for comment proved abortive.

The fraud matter is part of an ensuing battle between Taylor Rohi and an indian company,Bissma Commodities Nigeria Limited.It has already been reported to the EFCC.

“Group managing director of Skye Bank, Mr.Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti should watch out for those who want to give bad image with their nefarious activities”said a source

Even the GMD is said to be having so much on his hands due to the activities of some people tagged ‘Akinfenwa boys’- most of them never liked his style of leadership.

It would be recalled that some of those loyal to the former managing director of the bank were forced out of the bank shortly after Durosimi-Etti settled down in his new position. Kayode Akinyemi, the erstwhile head of corporate communications and Peter Olorunfemi, head of aviation and maritime were two of such people. Akinsola Akinfewa himself was allegedly ejected from the bank’s property located on Jide Oki street in Victoria Island
