General Muhammadu Buhari has said that Nigeria military has diminished to the point that it could not fight against insurgency in her country.
The general attributed the cause of the problem to the President administration who he said is not ready to end insurgency in the country.
He stated this while answering questions on Al Jazeera on Sunday.
Buhari advised Nigerians to be calm over the postponement of polls in the country, adding that it won’t affect his winning the election in anyways.
The general said that the numbers of soldiers deployed to the Ekiti June 21 governorship election would have been enough to check the excesses of the insurgency.
