Eedris Abdulkareem the Olympic torch bearer social crusader Mr lecturer may be cooking up another bombshell to be released in few months, a source informs NAIJA CENTER NEWS.
Unlike many Nigerian singers, Idris is known for his direct accost and truth to the authorities through his music.
In 2017, the Hip-hop singer described Nigeria as a country pregnant without delivery. He said “It’s so sad Nigeria has been pregnant since 1960. She was sixteen years old when she was pregnant, how many years old is Nigeria now? About 53-55years or something.”
“So you can imagine, she is already old and still in labour room, crying. Who raped Nigeria? Who slept with Nigeria, who impregnated Nigeria? These wicked people are still around.”
He advised that “all the president needs to do is write his name in gold and to be able to do that, he needs not to be biased.”
In 2004, the daredevil singer released a controversial hit song “Nigeria Jega jega” which was played by many politicians during politically rallies.
The music lashed the country leaders over the future of Nigeria, a song that offended the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
Our reporter is not aware if the expected song would create another punch to the political class as the hip-hop singer never makes it easy for those he perceives as “enemies of Nigeria”.
