Fire Burnt Seven Vehicles in Ogun State Secretariat

Ogun State secretariat was on fire yesterday as fire burnt seven vehicles belonging to the Ogun State Government. The fire razed the car park of the ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs at the State Government Secretariat in Abeokuta

State Fire Service came and put out the fire before it could cause further damage. Threeunits of Toyota Camry, two units of Honda Accord and two of Nissan Primera were burnt in the fire. According to the information gathered, the fire was caused by bush burning close to the secretariat.

Among the cars burnt, were among the cars returned by the immediate past local government caretaker committees in the State

Mr. Shuaib Salisu, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the State governor commended the fire brigade for their prompt response

mrs, Funmi Wakama, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media said the fire fighters would remain on alert as the fire was still burning on the other side of the fence.

A towing vehicle own by the State Parking management Scheme entered the complex to vacate other vehicles in the park to avoid further destruction

From what sound like a surprise to is the rate at which fire haunting every politicians in the country at different locations. One would wonder if they are being haunted by their deeds.
