The Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This is coming barely a week after over 50 members of the National Assembly dumped the ruling party for the Peoples Democratic Party.
Though Saraki has not informed Nigerians of his next line of action, he has definitely taken the first step to living the APC behind.
He disclosed this on his twitter handle on Tuesday.
Saraki said “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
