A former Esan West Local Government Chairman under the People’s Democratic Party Hon. Felix Akhabue today dumped the People’s Democratic Party and join The All Progressive Congress.

Hon. Felix Akhabue and his large supporters where received today into the party at the Sam Ogbemudia Stadium during the APC Mega Rally by the Governor and all Party Leaders.

The State Party Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Edo State Barr. Anselm Ojezua thanked Hon. Akhabue for taken the right decision and assured them of equal right in the party.

The State Governor, H. E Mr. Godwin Obaseki stated that Hon. Felix Akhabue is a force to reckon with and he is happy that Hon. Akhabue has finally taken the right decision.

Hon. Felix Akhabue popularly called JOEFEL said “We have decided to join the All Progressive Congress(APC) because we have a Good Governor, We want to follow the line and support the Government”.

“We are going back home to work and tell the people about the need to follow this Great Party APC”.

Hon. Felix Akhabue was a former Esan West Local Government Chairman under the People’s Democratic Party.

Mr. Felix Akhabue serves as the National President, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Mr. Akhabue serves as an Executive Chairman of Esan West Local Government Council, Ekpoma, Edo State. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of The Infrastructure Bank Plc. He is the Board representative of ALGON.

He attended Edo State University from 1990 to 1995, where he attained his first degree in Accounting; and subsequently received his Masters in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University.

He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Nigeria.
