The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has denied involvement in the event that unfolded at the National Assembly on Tuesday.

The National Assembly was taken over by the operatives of the State Security Service and the Nigerian police officers this morning.
NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported that the lawmakers were prevented from entering the Assembly complex on the alleged order from the DSS Boss, Lawal Daura.
The development attracted negative reaction across the country and eminent members of the opposition in the Peoples Democratic Party expressed their displeasure.
Oshiomhole’s spokesman denied that his boss has any knowledge of the event that was widely reported by the media.
“He has not been briefed about the matter and he is not a security officer,” Mr Egbegbulem told PREMIUM TIMES by telephone at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday.
“The Chairman is not even aware of what is happening at the National Assembly,” he emphasised. “He travelled yesterday and came back and not quite long he got back to the office”
“He has not been briefed by anybody,” he added.
The PDP had accused Oshiomhole of camping APC Senators at the Sheraton Hotels in Abuja where he allegedly instructed them to remove the Senate President, Bukola Saraki from office
Meanwhile, the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has sacked the DSS boss over his involvement in the siege at the National Assembly.
This was communicated through his Special Assistant, Laolu Akande on Tuesday.
unconfirmed Source claimed that Daura had to go for carrying out the order of Adams Oshiomhole without the knowledge of the Vice President.
