…Says Amaechi Has Destroyed Rivers State
As Rivers People continue to reflect on the crisis that rock the State House of Assembly one year after, the State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says the crisis was instigated by Governor Rotimi Amaechi to prevent an imaginary impeachment that existed only on his mind and was never contemplated by the lawmakers.
The State Chairman of the PDP Bro Felix Obuah disclosed this in a press statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Jerry Needam, while reflecting on the crisis that rocked the Rivers State House of Assembly, one year after.
The PDP also said the crisis orchestrated by Gov Amaechi currently rocking the State judiciary is a mold of the Rivers State House of Assembly crisis aimed at preventing another illusory impeachment plan that also existed only on the governor’s mind.
The PDP lawmakers and the party have not contemplated impeaching Gov Ameachi. We therefore wonder why Amaechi is afraid of what has not been contemplated and for which he has deliberately destroyed both the Assembly and the judiciary.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also come down hard on Chidi Lloyd whom the party describes as lacking in conscience and urges him to seek the face of God for restitution.
The party said at the appropriate time Chidi Lloyd shall come to the realization that man’s inhumanity to man must be visited with same, if not heavier punishment.
We regret that comments of desperate Chidi Lloyd who was at the centre of the drama on radio over the Assembly crisis underscore an unrepentant, unpatriotic and uncivil politician who means no good for Rivers State.
The PDP called on Gov Amaechi to soberly reflect on the crises rocking Rivers State and give in to peace, stressing that if past leaders had destroyed the State Amaechi would not have had any opportunity to lord over the people.
The PDP calls on Rivers people to continue to reject the All Progressives Congress, APC, and what the like of Gov Amaechi and Chidi Lloyd stand for, contending that they don’t mean well for the State.
