The Senate President Bukola Saraki boycott the President’s dinner meeting on Wednesday evening.

APC Senators and President Buhari 5 - Saraki boycotts Buhari's dinner meetingPresident Muhammadu Buhari had called a meeting of All Progressives Congress lawmakers after  15 senators dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday.

The details of the meeting are not known as at the time of filing this report, however, it was said to be held inside the conference room in the office of the wife of the president at the State House villa, Abuja.

APC 42 senators honoured Buhari’s invitation but the Senate President who is still a member of the party was absent.

There is rumour that Saraki is heading to the Peoples Democratic Party as he is no longer comfortable with the way he is treated in the party.

On Tuesday morning, Police laid siege to his home.

Before then, the Inspector General of Police had invited the embattled Senate President to its headquarter to answer questions relating to the confession of Offa armed robber.
